SHIATSU

WHAT IS THE SHIATSU?

This term is formed of the Japanese words, SHI: fingers and ATSU: pressure. Often called digito-pressure or accu-pressure, the SHIATSU is a practice of Chinese origin which goes up with more than 3000 years. Adoptee then by Japanese and practiced still nowadays; the SHIATSU is approved by Ministry of Japanese health. Method of natural hygiene, this discipline acts on ones physic and the mental by stimulating natural defenses of the organism.

HOW DOES THE SHIATSU ACT?

Practically by carrying out pressure on zones of body called TSUBOS. These Tsubos are located along the meridian lines (Highways of Energy) very close to those used in acupuncture.
